We’re Hosting A Gig For The Real Music Heads With corto.alto
About this Event
Those who know, know. corto.alto is one of the most exciting bands in their genre right now, and we’re bringing them to The Bernard Shaw for a one-off gig as part of Bacardí’s ‘Casa Bacardi’.
Picture the scene: it’s September. Your brain is fried from festival season. DJ set after DJ set has taken up your whole summer. It was fun, but now you need something different. This one’s for you. On 10 September, we’re bringing corto.alto to Dublin, with tickets costing just €8.00 – and that includes a complimentary drink.
There’s nobody doing it quite like corto.alto, headed by Liam Shortall and supported by an ensemble of band members. This is your chance to get in on the ground floor, as the lads have been gaining serious momentum in recent months. Their 2024 project, Bad With Names, drew attention from music insiders, earning a nomination for the Mercury Prize. Off the back of this, the band have carved out a niche for themselves thanks to their unforgettable stage presence. By fusing jazz, electronic and club influences into a sound rooted in contemporary dance culture, they deliver a live performance like no other. Most recently, Shortall released two singles, featuring none other than Vector and Mick Jenkins.
We’re giving them the District seal of approval, so come down and refresh your palate after summer.
Please enjoy Bacardí responsibly. Visit www.drinkaware.ie for more information.
