WEW, Inc., Community Giveway

Women Empowering Women for the Next Generation Ministries (WEW, Inc.) will have a drive-thru community giveaway pre-registration is highly recommended (On-site registration will be available). One registration per family, one bag per car. Dental kits, household items, school supplies, utility assistance packets, and more will be available while supplies last.

We will have a walk-thru site for Covid-19 Vaccines (optional)- you must pre-register as well. Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) will provide the Pfizer vaccine. Six Flags tickets, will be offered to anyone who receives the COVID-19 vaccine during this event.

What to do or bring at the event?

Bring your Eventbrite Ticket! After you have completed registration, you will receive an "Event Ticket." Your event ticket shows that you are registered to receive products. Bring your "Event Ticket" with you, or be prepared to show it on your device. Please, provide the correct email to ensure you receive your Eventbrite Ticket.

Products Only

If you registered for products only and no vaccine, please drive to the designated location and release your trunk. Your items will be placed in the trunk of your vehicle (one product bag per vehicle) while supplies last.

What if I want a vaccine and products?

If you registered for a vaccine and products, please drive to the designated location, and you will be directed where to go.

Please, DO NOT get out of your vehicle until instructed to do so (one product bag per vehicle will be given at the vaccine departure waiting location) while supplies last.

How do I register for the vaccine, and what do I need to bring to get a vaccine?

1. You must pre-register at this link-https://dallas-county.quickscreen.health/dallas-co#/screening
2. Bring your ID (drivers license, passport, or state ID)
3. Children (ages 12-17) receiving a vaccine must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian.
4. Please bring the following documents to show your child proof of age: Birth certificate, and any school photo ID, or Texas ID, or driver's license if 16-17 years of age.

Vaccination Process

This vaccination site is a walk-thru site. Masks and social distancing must be followed at all times.

LIABILITY WAIVER & PHOTO RELEASE

In consideration of my right to participate in the WEW, Inc., Community Giveaway Event for September 18, 2021, when I register, I agree to the following:

1) I, as the participant, in consideration of registration, hereby agree to hold free from guilt and hold harmless of blame and liability, the Women Empowering Women for the Next Generation Ministries dba WEW, Inc., The Barnabas Baptist Church, Community Partners, Sponsors, and Volunteers of any liability waiving all rights and claims from or arising out of the use of The Barnabas Baptist Church premises included but not limited to any indoor or outdoor activities. WEW, Inc., The Barnabas Baptist Church, Community Partners, Sponsors, and Volunteers shall be exempt from any and all liabilities, which could result from any injury or property damage while participating at the recreational facility and or during the use of equipment. I further agree not to file any lawsuit against WEW, Inc., The Barnabas Baptist Church, Community Partners, Sponsors, and or Volunteers as a result of participation at any time for or on account of any claim for personal injuries, death, or property loss, arising or resulting from the use of such facility, services or equipment on or about the premises.

2) I authorize the Parties to take photographs and videotapes and to record my voice, conversation and other sounds during and in connection with the fitness event. I acknowledge that the Parties shall own exclusively all copyright and other rights in and to such tapes, photography, and recordings and may use them forever and throughout the world in any manner without compensation to me. I authorize the Parties to use my name, voice, likeness, and any biographical facts provided to the fitness event in advertising and promoting the Parties without further compensation.

3) I acknowledge that by signing this release I will be forever prevented from suing or otherwise claiming against the Parties for any property loss or personal injury that may be sustained while participating in or preparing for the fitness event. This release shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas.

4) I acknowledge that I have read and understand this release fully, understand its contents, and I am aware that by registering for this event I release and I am waiving certain legal rights which me or my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators and assigns may have against the Parties.
