About this Event
Join us at KIT FORM for a free afternoon programme of artist talks, experimental performances, and live music from South west artists and art workers.
The event will include presentations from Bristol City Council’s Arts & Culture team, WEVAA Fellows Bath Art Depot, Weston Artspace and Art in Motion, and artists Anna Haydock-Wilson and Jack Young.
There will be live performances from eden, Art Business Ltd and Infinite Spirit Music, films from Bristol Refugee Artist Collective, The Brunswick Club and Spike Island, alongside work by artists daqhan collective, Alice Jennings, Kathy Hinde and Vicky Smith.
This event is part of the West of England Visual Arts Alliance (WEVAA), a collaborative arts-focused partnership between:
- Spike Island and Visual Arts South West (co-leaders)
- The Brunswick Club
- Creative Youth Network
- UWE Bristol
- Bath Spa School of Art, Film and Media
- Bristol City Council- Creative Youth Network
- North Somerset Council
- Super Culture
Since 2021, WEVAA has delivered a three-year programme of activity to support visual arts progression in the region, with the collective vision for the visual arts community in Bristol and the West of England to become more progressive, sustainable and inclusive by 2024.
WEVAA has been investing in the South West’s arts sector, providing opportunities for local artists to develop their careers, and demonstrating the significance of the visual arts sector for our region’s community and long-term economic stability.
