Join fiber artist Kelly Lynae for a hands-on workshop exploring traditional felt-making techniques through the creation of a modern sculptural basket.
Using wool, warm water, soap, and agitation, students will transform natural wool fibers into a seamless felted vessel inspired by contemporary fiber art.
Participants will learn:
- Layer and shape wool fibers
- Create a seamless felted basket
- Add simple decorative details
- Form and finish their basket by hand
This beginner-friendly workshop includes all materials, and each participant will leave with a beautiful handmade felted basket.
