Westside Small Business Cafecito - February

Come join our vibrant networking session aimed at fostering connections and uplifting the thriving small businesses, nonprofits, and community on the West Side! Every 2nd Monday of the month, we gather for our cafecito at a different west side small business or organization, spotlighting the diverse enterprises in our area.

For this month’s Cafecito, the VIA Community Engagement Team will introduce themselves and the Silver Line Project, a rapid line that will be extended east to west of downtown to make travel more efficient and upgrade accessibility for riders.

This project affects our community of the Westside along with anyone wanting to connect, this is a great opportunity to learn and be heard on how community-input works with large-scale projects such as this one.

Guests are invited to enjoy coffee, pan dulce, conversation, and time to explore the space at the start of a new year.

Acompáñanos a un Cafecito para convivir, conectar y apoyar a los pequeños negocios, organizaciones sin fines de lucro y a la comunidad del West Side. Cada segundo lunes del mes nos reunimos para nuestro Cafecito en un pequeño negocio u organización diferente del West Side, resaltando los negocios y espacios que hacen fuerte a nuestra comunidad.

Para el Cafecito de este mes, el equipo de Participación Comunitaria de VIA se presentará y hablará sobre el Proyecto de la Línea Plata, una línea rápida que se extenderá de este a oeste del centro de San Antonio para hacer los viajes más rápidos y mejorar el acceso para los usuarios.

Este proyecto afecta a nuestra comunidad del Westside y a todas las personas que quieran conectarse. Es una gran oportunidad para aprender y para que su voz sea escuchada sobre cómo la opinión de la comunidad ayuda en proyectos grandes como este.

Info: Each month, we feature a guest speaker from diverse backgrounds and organizations who share valuable information on resources, services, programs, and personal stories that can benefit our community. This month's Cafecito we will introduce the opening of Prosper West headquarters at Basila Frocks, a long-awaited project in the Westside with historical significance to this San Antonio.
