On the fourth Saturday of month (most months), you can join with others to enjoy playing traditional Irish tunes at slow tempos. These sessions are a great opportunity to enjoy making music in good company. The tempos are slow, suited for learning the tunes, getting started on an instrument, or for those who just prefer playing at a slow tempo. The sessions are free. Hosted by Julie Zamudio. Beverages (nonalcoholic) ok, but no food. 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Tualatin Valley Fire Station 65, 3425 SW 103rd Avenue Beaverton, OR 97005 (Just east of Highway 217, on Walker Rd.).
