For June, we honor Nobel Prize and International Man Booker Prize winner Alice Munro (1931 - 2024), reading two selections from her 2004 collection entitled Runaway — Soon and Silence are two connected stories that relate different stages of a character's life, and explore themes including relationships, family, and loss.Space is limited; registration is required, by phoning the Book Shop at 203-349-5141 or sending an email to [email protected]
Copies of Soon and Silence may be found online, by searching their titles. Copies of Runaway also may be found through your local library, and the Westport Book Shop has one copy that may be borrowed.
