The first of the walks around New Years is a second attempt of the Westmere Lake Twilight Walk. A bush walk around the lake. It's not as built up as Virginia Lake but it's still beautiful in it’s own rugged way with plenty of shade covering the whole way around, with a few viewpoints of the lake. Hopefully this time the weather stays good.
Meeting Location: Westmere Lake Car Park on Rapanui Road
Time: 7pm
Difficulty Level: Easy
Gradient: undulating with small hills
Track Standard: Walking Track with a few uneven places, stairs are only on the optional Bush loopDogs Allowed: No
