Westchester Chamber Soloists: 2023-24 Season Subscription

Westchester Chamber Soloists is Westchester County's premier chamber orchestra and ensemble network, comprised of professional and advance avocational performers, each of them established soloist performers in their own right. WCS' 2023-24 Season features a wealth and diversity of astonishing repertoire, including concertos and symphonic and chamber works. All programs are on Sundays at 3:00pm at Sarah Lawrence College's Reisinger Hall (Bronxville, NY).

Dec 3: with Guest Concertmaster Calvin Wiersma (career performer with Orpheus)

- featuring works by Haydn, Grieg (Piano Concerto), Wagner and others

Feb 11: with Guest Conductor Mina Kim (of Purchase College)

- featuring works by Mozart (Sinfonia Concertante for Winds), Jessie Montgomery, Debussy, Stravinsky

Apr 7: with Sarah Lawrence Faculty & Students (Composers, Performers and Arts Department leaders)

- featuring works by John Yanelli, Other SLC Faculty, and Mozart (Piano Concerto in C major)

May 19: with Guest Conductor and Composer Ovidiu Marinescu

- featuring works by Mozart (Concerto for Flute & Harp), Schumann (Piano Concerto), Rossini and a World Premier.
