Take A286 from Chichester to West Wittering and then turn right to
Beach. Meet in far car park at entrance to East Head. Car park
charge - booking in advance via JustPark required.
Habitat:
Regular early winter site. If early high tide, start with Lagoons then East Head. If early low tide, start at East Head. Salt marsh, sand dunes, shingle spits, freshwater lagoons. Flat paths, on beach, sand dunes and footpath. Paths can be muddy.
Attractions:
Sanderling, other waders, sea birds and ducks. Chance of snow bunting in winter.

Toilet facilities at car park.
