With so much misinformation and disinformation circulating—especially before and during elections—we’ve invited the League of Women Voters of Volusia County to present at our next meeting.
Topic: News: Separating Fact from Fiction
This timely and informative presentation will explore how to identify bias in news stories and recognize when information may be misleading or entirely false. Attendees will learn about different types of disinformation, why false narratives spread so easily, and practical tools to evaluate the credibility of media sources.
In addition, the League will provide voter information and educational handouts to help community members stay informed and engaged.
