Help celebrate West Virginia’s birthday at Spark! Imagination and Science Center. On Tuesday, June 18, from 10:00am-1:00pm, kids can craft, play games, explore old time toys and instruments, and add a personalized paper quilt square to Spark’s West Virginia Day quilt. “We are excited to celebrate our state,” comments Tiffany Martin, Spark! Imagination and Science Center Education Coordinator. “Hands-on exploration can help kids connect with West Virginia's history and culture.”
Visitors can also explore Spark’s hands-on exhibits. Visitors can dig for pretend dinosaur fossils, build a ball ramp, explore nanoscience, play dress up, and much more.
Spark! Imagination and Science Center is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and located inside the Mountaineer Mall at 5000 Greenbag Road. Spark is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit organization. Admission is $5 per person, children under 12 months old are free.
