West Town First Fridays

Creative Coworking has been an advocate for the arts since our original location in Evanston opened almost 12 years ago! Over the years, that space has consistently held a rotation of more than 40 local artists’ work. Creative Coworking allows the artists to set their own prices and we do not take a percentage of the selling price.

Creative Coworking acts as a bridge by introducing coworking members, guests, and clients to the work of talented artists and by introducing artists and their fans to our multi-use spaces throughout Chicagoland: Evanston, Edgewater, and West Town.

With local art inhabiting the walls, we can create eclectic and creative workspaces. For the West Town location, we have curated a selection of artwork from some of our favorite local artists that we’ve worked with throughout the years. With an eye towards photography and architecture, we’ve selected pieces that reflect the history of the building and the neighborhood.

With enthusiastic participation from area galleries, First Fridays has the potential to ensure the continued development of the West Town neighborhood as a nexus of fine art and arts development in Chicago and beyond.
