Together We Rise: West Texas Food Bank's Continued Support for Reeves CountyThe West Texas Food Bank (WTFB) is excited to continue supporting the residents of Reeves County through our ongoing food distribution events. We’re kicking off 2025 with a slight change to one of our distribution schedules and continue to offer valuable resources for our community.
Starting February 2025, the Pecos Distribution Outreach will move from Every First Thursday of the month to Every First Friday. This new schedule allows us to better serve the community and ensure more families have access to food on a timely basis. We appreciate your flexibility and support as we adjust to this change.
Meanwhile, the Balmorhea Distribution Outreach will remain the same as in 2024, taking place every second Tuesday of each month at the Balmorhea Community Center. Volunteer sign-in begins at 9:30 AM, and food distribution will start at 10:00 AM. We encourage everyone to come out and experience the joy of giving back.
These monthly distribution events are vital to our mission of fighting hunger in West Texas. We rely on the hard work of volunteers who help organize and distribute food boxes, making a real impact in the lives of those in need. Whether you’re a new volunteer or a dedicated supporter, your presence at these events is a crucial part of their success.
