About this Event
SHOPPING FOR A CAUSE!
Join us for the West Pioneer Crafts & Collections Fair in downtown Puyallup on Saturday, June 6th! Our parking lot will be full of food trucks and vendors selling their wares from 9 am to 3:30 pm that day—tickets not necessary. All funds raised go to support local nonprofits! Want to make it a day of shopping and thrifting? We’re less than two miles away from Triftapalooza happening at the Washington State Fair that day!
SPECIAL NEW EVENT FOR KIDS:
New this year is a special event just for kids: a Toy Trade! Elementary-aged children are invited to bring a bag of clean, used toys to trade for “new” toys with other children! The Toy Trade gives kids something fun and free to do, while letting them use the purchasing power of their used toys, books, and gadgets to find something to trade with other kids! This is happening from 10:30 to Noon. CLICK HERE for information on how this works, what to bring, and how to help your child practice their trading skills successfully!
WHO IS HOSTING THIS?
This event is sponsored by the Puyallup United Women in Faith, a fellowship of women who are part of a global philanthropic organization focused on improving the lives of women and children. Each vendor at our Fair has paid a fee to participate, and these funds are used to support nonprofit services in our community.
WHERE WILL THE PROCEEDS GO?
The PUWF donates the funds raised from vendor fees to local nonprofits here in Pierce County. Some of the organizations they support include: Associated Ministries, Family Renewal Shelter, Habitat for Humanity, My Sister's Pantry, Nourish Pierce County, OASIS Youth Center, Puyallup Food Bank, Tacoma Community House, St Francis House, the Good Sam Hospital S.T.A.R.T. program, and The Women's Shelter at the YWCA. Learn more about the PUWF at https://puyallupuwf.com. If you are interested in joining our group or making a donation to this cause, please see one of our members on the day of the fair.
WHAT KIND OF VENDORS WILL THERE BE?
This is the PUWF’s third year hosting this event, with many new vendors this year! Browse through a variety of items for sale, including food trucks, collectibles, handmade crafts, jewelry, gifts, goods, jewelry and accessories, antiques, fishing gear, sports memorabilia, and more!
