Care Free Homes is excited to be a sponsor of the West Island 5K Run/Walk and a Kids 1 Mile Fun Run! Stop by our tent to meet the Care Free family and grab some post race snacks and Care Free swag. Proceeds support the Strive & Achieve initiative, West Island Improvement Association scholarship fund, and the Fairhaven High School Cross Country program.
Course Details:
5K - USA Track and Field Certified: MA13007JK
Mostly flat and fast loop throughout scenic West Island with a fast downhill start and a challenging uphill finish.
Each mile will be marked.
Kids Mile Run - Flat and fast 1 mile course on paved roads with a little hill at the end.
Awards:
5K - Top 3 Male/Female Finishers; Top 3 Male/Female Age Group Finishers
Age Categories: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and older
1 Mile - Trophies for Top 3 Boy/Girl Finishers in the Kids' Mile Run
Entry Fee
$5.00 - Kids' Mile
$20.00 - K-12 students registering for the 5K run/walk
$25.00 - Adult 5K Run/Walk registrations (BEFORE April 15)
$30.00 - Adult 5K Run/Walk registrations (AFTER April 15)
