West End Stories

Join us for our 51st Legacy Home Tour! Visit historic homes, discover important landmarks and learn how the West End transformed Alameda. Spend the day on a lovely island, visit the interiors of unique historic homes and stroll through neighborhoods rich in architectural history.

Save the date!
Sunday September 15th from 10am to 4pm. The tour starts at Longfellow Park where you’ll pick up your tickets, meet with local vendors, relax at the café and browse the AAPS store.

Tickets go on sale July 4th!

The ticket price includes a keepsake “Legacy Guidebook” with detailed architectural and historic information on each of the properties included on the tour, a detailed map with the tour route.

When you purchase your tickets on Eventbrite, you’ll receive a voucher as a receipt for your purchase. Print it on paper or save it onto your mobile device. And on September 15th check in at the ticket table at Longfellow Park, (corner of Lincoln and Linden St.) to exchange your voucher for a wristband which will be your ticket to the tour.

Docents and volunteers - some dressed in period costumes - will be ready to guide and inform you every step of the way. Bring your family and friends!
