Strawberry Festival is quickly approaching and we need you to help us make it the best ever! Sign up to volunteer at this year's event below, and yes volunteers get a free Shortcake!
Set-up and takedown team:
Tasks:
Set up and take down tables, chairs, and tents on the field
Set-up and take down cooling station
Assist vendors and community partners with their stations
Shifts: 10 AM to 12 noon, 4 PM to 5:30 PM
Volunteers needed: 10
Strawberry Shortcake team
Tasks:
Clean and cut Strawberries
Scoop Ice cream
Assemble shortcakes
Run assembled shortcakes to and from the sale table
Shift: 10 AM 3:00 PM
Volunteers needed: 5
Volunteer sign-in table:
Tasks:
Sign in volunteers and hand them a Shortcake voucher
Ensure the volunteer break room has enough water, snacks, and is clean
Shift: 9:30 AM to 3 PM
Volunteers needed: 4
Strawberry Shortcake sales table:
Tasks:
Handle cash
Distribute cakes
Run cashbox to and from cash office
Communicate with the volunteers in the kitchen for more supplies
Shift: 12 noon to 4 PM
Volunteers needed: 5
Raffle ticket team:
Tasks:
Handle cash
Distribute raffle tickets
Communicate with the Field team for supplies and assistance
Shift: 12 noon to 4 PM
Volunteers needed: 4
Barclay Manor Team:
Tasks:
Assist the Clothes and Collectibles sales
Ensure the cooling room has enough water, cups, and refreshments
Shift: 12 Noon to 4 PM
Volunteers needed: 3
Guest Host Team:
Tasks:
Assist guests with finding attractions, bathrooms, seating, ect
Assist guests that have mobility issues with getting food, finding seats, ect
Shift: 12:30 PM to 4 PM
