Join us for a fun-filled and inclusive celebration at our all-ages, Pride BBQ! Whether you're a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community or an ally, this event is open to everyone. Come together with friends, family, and neighbors to celebrate love, diversity, and equality in a fun, warm, and welcoming environment.Event Highlights:
•Delicious BBQ: We’ll be serving free hot dogs, popcorn, and ice-cold lemonade (while supplies last)
•Live Entertainment: Dance and sing along to music and performances by talented local artists and entertainers
•Games and Activities: Participate in fun games and activities for all ages, including: a community mural, face painting, misting stations, kids’ craft table, and plaza games.
Accessibility Details:
-This event will take place in the plaza in front of Gordon Neighbourhood House, located in the centre of the West End at 1019 Broughton Street, Vancouver.
-The West End is served by the Robson #6 and Davie #5 bus routes. The closest bus stop is located 290 metres (3.5 blocks) from the event location.
-GNH is an accessible building, and all mobility devices and service/support animals are welcome.
-Gender neutral and single-stall bathrooms will be available.
-Don’t forget sunscreen and hats to stay protected from the sun
