About the instructors:
Léa and Ruben are among the most experienced West Coast Swing dance couples in Norway. They both learned their first triple steps through the NTNUI dans WCS group right here in Trondheim!
Ruben has been dancing West Coast Swing for 12 years and has been active as an instructor and event coordinator in Trondheim in 2015 and 2016. In 2017, he moved to Oslo and has since then been dancing and teaching at Bårdar WCS Club. Ruben is competing at the Advanced level in WSDC (World Swing Dance Council) and has had several placements at some of the largest events in Europe. He is a WCS enthusiast supporting the community as a dancer, DJ, instructor and local event organiser.
Léa discovered West Coast Swing 11 years ago while on Erasmus in Trondheim and is currently competing as an Intermediate WSDC level dancer. She has been dancing in Strasbourg, Paris and Vienna, before moving to Oslo in 2019 where she also teaches at Bårdar WCS Club. Her favorite part about dance weekends? Sharing her passion for the dance, meeting new people and making sure she dances with everyone!
They regularly travel to international WCS events together, bringing back fresh inspiration, new moves and concepts to share with their community.
