Our dance on Friday, Oct 7th starts at 7:00 and will feature a line dance lesson taught by Adam to The Wolf at 7:15 and following that a beginner West Coast Swing lesson taught by Nat. We will have social dancing to follow with a wide arrange of styles from waltz, country two-step, west coast swing, and some line dancing. DJ Rachelle will keep the beats going all night long. No dance experience or partner necessary. Our lessons and social dance time is beginner and two-left-feet friendly.Check out our website at stomptown.org for some demo videos of our various dance styles and line dance lessons. Mandatory vaccination is no longer required at Escape, so please join us at your own discretion. Masks are not required, but it's recommended that folks have a mask on hand so if you get invited to dance with someone who prefers masking you are ready to go with them.
There is no cover fee at Escape; we do recommend a $10-15 donation which supports Stomptown's endeavors in our rented dance floors, the Pride parade, and other events. There is a donation jar and Venmo information by the DJ's table.
Escape Bar is one level with a few surface changes on the floor. Lighting is low. There are two single-stall bathrooms labeled as "sit" and "sit or stand." There is a small parking lot with one accessible parking spot. Do not park in the convenience store spots or the Boot Barn lot across the road- both will tow. There is parking on Sandy and the residential roads on both sides.
