This walk will not only cover an enormous collection of artefacts from all around West Bengal but also the story of a heritage building where the museum was originally housed. The museum walk will cover seven galleries which span from archaeological discoveries in Bengal from the Paleolithic to the present day. The site also hosts a simulated experience of the archaeological site of Jagjivanpur providing a realistic glimpse into a Buddhist monastery from the early medieval period.
