Get ready to move, connect, and celebrate culture through dance!
Join us for an energizing and culturally enriching West African Dance Experience led by Lady Mahogany. This special afternoon will feature two dynamic classes designed to bring movement, rhythm, expression, and cultural connection together in one unforgettable experience.
This event is also being held in support of Kwanzaa365 Connection and the 3rd Annual Afro-Wellness Experience, taking place on Saturday, September 19 from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus in Savannah.
The Afro-Wellness Experience is a vibrant community celebration centered around culture, holistic wellness, movement, local artisans, health resources, and community connection. We are proud to help bring greater awareness and support to this powerful initiative while creating another opportunity for our community to gather, move, and celebrate African-rooted traditions.
Whether you're an experienced dancer or simply looking for a new way to move your body, connect with culture, and have fun, you are invited to join us.
What You'll Experience
West African Dance Class
Experience the rhythm, energy, and powerful movements of traditional West African dance.
West African Contemporary Lyrical Dance Class
Explore a beautiful fusion of West African movement, contemporary dance, and lyrical expression.
Both sessions will be led by Lady Mahogany, creating a welcoming environment where participants can learn, move, express themselves, and celebrate the beauty of African-rooted dance traditions.

What to Bring
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Comfortable dance shoes or appropriate footwear are recommended. Bring water and come ready to MOVE!
