Wesselman Nature Preserve Wildlife Exploration

Step into the wild with us at Wesselman Nature Preserve in Evansville, Indiana! 🌿

On Friday, November 21 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm EST, OpenEd families are invited to spend the morning exploring one of Southern Indiana’s most unique natural spaces. Students will enjoy a live raptor program with an up-close animal encounter, take part in a guided hike through the preserve, and end with free play at the nature-inspired Playscape.

This experience blends learning with adventure, giving kids the chance to connect with wildlife, explore the forest, and discover the wonder of nature right in their own backyard.

The field trip is free for OpenEd students + one parent. Additional family members may attend with small fees: children under 2 are free, ages 3–4 are $3, and ages 5+ are $6. Attendance is limited to 80 participants total, so please RSVP for the exact number attending.
