WESNO Paint and Network

WESNO will be hosting our first ever Paint and Network opportunity!

Please e-transfer the $28 fee to [email protected] to confirm your spot!

We invite you to bring your own shirt, bag, jacket and we will be painting the WESNO logo (a W with an arrow pointing right). We will be taught by EcoEquitable's fabric painting extraordinaire, Faezeh, and she recommends painting on something that is cotton.

Agenda for the day:

10:00am-10:30 - Mingle and get settled

10:30am-12:00pm - Learn step-by-step how to paint on fabric and get started with our design!

12:00pm-1:00pm - Lunch and Networking break! (Please bring your own lunch)

1:00pm-2:00pm - Finish painting our design!

WESNO will provide the stencils, fabric paint, brushes, and plastic layers to keep paint from going through fabric. You just need to bring your garment or bag to paint on (and of course, your sweet networking skills)!

Le REFDO organise sa toute première activité de peinture et de réseautage !

Nous vous invitons à apporter votre propre chemise, sac, veste et nous peindrons le logo du REFDO (un R avec une flèche pointant vers la droite). Nous peindrons le logo du WESNO (un W avec une flèche pointant vers la droite). Nous serons guidé.e.s par Faezeh, l'extraordinaire peintre sur tissu d'EcoEquitable. Elle nous recommande de peindre sur du coton.

Programme de la journée :

10h00-10h30 - Discussions informelles et installation.

10:30am-12:00pm - Apprentissage étape par étape de la peinture sur tissu et début des designs!

12:00-13:00 - Diner et pause de réseautage! (Veuillez apporter votre propre repas)

13:00-14:00 - Fin de la peinture de notre motif!

Le REFDO fournira les pochoirs, la peinture pour tissu, les pinceaux et les couches de plastique pour empêcher la peinture de traverser le tissu. Il vous suffit d'apporter votre vêtement ou votre sac à peindre (et bien sûr, vos talents de réseautage) !
