Wesley Chapel Theater Group Vocal Auditions - April 25th & 26thBroadway Through the Decades: Modern Era
Wesley Chapel Theater Group is a community theater that seeks talent from all backgrounds and experience levels. We are currently holding vocal auditions for singers who would like to join our group. Our next performance will be for part 3 of our Broadway Through the Decades series.
Please note this is a volunteer non-paid position.
Actors and singers are asked to complete an audition form and provide a complete list of potential date conflicts (see link below). Those who are 18 years and older are strongly encouraged to apply.
AUDITION DATES: April 25th & 26th at 7:00 PM.
Audition Location: Auditions will be held at Avalon Park Wesley Chapel Community Center, 5227 Autumn Ridge Drive, Wesley Chapel, FL 33545
PLEASE NOTE: Performers and some production volunteers MUST be available for all tech week rehearsals and all performances.
What to prepare: Please prepare a Broadway song, in your range, from a Broadway show that premiered in the year 2000 to the present. Please also have a backup song ready in case we ask to hear something else. We will have a sound system you can connect your music to. Please have it queued up and ready to go for your audition.
For this show, we will be performing Broadway songs from shows that debuted on Broadway in the years 2000+.
Performance dates are Thursday, August 8th, and Saturday, August 10th. There may be additional shows during that weekend so please be prepared for the dates of August 8th through 11th. Venue locations will be in Wesley Chapel and Zephyrhills.
Rehearsals will be at the Lions Club of Zephyrhills (5827 Dean Dairy Rd, Zephyrhills, FL 33541). The exact rehearsal schedule is to be determined, but rehearsals are usually 2 days per week, mostly weekday nights but there may be occasional rehearsals on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
Rehearsals begin the week of May 6th and will typically start at 7:00 PM.
