Electronic music culture from Düsseldorf
Since 2011 the cult band Mängelexemplar is playing their way through the international musical cosmos of the electronic music underground. The german synth duo from Düsseldorf brings
heavy synths with inescapable melodies, characterized by analogue sounds and cool synth sounds, inspired by New Wave from the early 80s.
Beautifully electronic, puristic and danceable, then again spherical, but also brutal.
The soundscapes with repetitive minimal wave structures are nostalgic and futuristic.
Lyrically, the two Düsseldorfers are not stuck in yesterday, but convey things in a charming way.
They bring the legendary electronic music culture of Düsseldorf into a new era. With fresh, catchy songs like it was en vogue in the 80s.

RECHT AUF RAUSCH:
Recht auf Rausch is a music project run by two alienated Millennials from Offenbach, Germany. Their attempt to express themselves honestly within a chimerical world successfully fails. Their sound traverses through Post-punk/wave/synthpop influences. EBM-ish beats meet a dark, depressed and delirious songwriting. The poetic persona processes their commerce with self-consciousness in society. Their debut album „Im Osten geht die Sonne auf“ was released in February 2023 on Meta Moto. Live acts are supported by their performer/singer Sam.
