About this Event

Stuart kept his collection of images to himself for more than 20 years but started scanning the negatives during the 2020 lockdown and set up his popular Instagram account @linden_archives.

Two years on, and after features in Vice, BBC Radio 6 Music, the Manchester Evening News and a host of other publications, Stuart has now released his first book 'Out & About With Linden: A Queer Archive of the North.'

About the We're Still Here... project

We're still here... is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and aims to create a new online archive of queer histories. The project is led by Abingdon Studios and artists Garth Gratrix and Harry Clayton-Wright.

As part of the project, we're looking for queer people living, working or studying in Blackpool to share their stories. If you'd like to get involved in the project, its really easy - all we need you to do is have a conversation and be recorded, and we'll do the rest. Find out more on the Abingdon Studios website.
