Wellness Workshop: Are you living with an expired or expiring story?

Our bodies are listening to the stories we tell ourselves and others. Our body makes

internal adjustments in responding to what we think, feel and say. How we frame our story

impacts our health and wellbeing. We all have a storyline running through our heads, but

often we are living with a story that if closely examined is limiting us in many ways. Our life

story is not just a record of events; it’s a narrative identity that shapes how we interpret

our lives and relate to others.

The words in our story don’t just describe reality they create reality. If our story is shaped

and presented to tell more than our challenges and highlights our core strengths, our mind-

body health improves. We become open to healing and continuous rewrites of self. Our

identity is not a fixed trait so consider joining this workshop to explore if it’s time to

reframe an old storyline.

Guest Instructor: Deborah Faust works for the Mental Health Association in New York State and has developed holistic mind-body health programming for over 100 organizations across the state. Deborah’s career has focused on supporting families and messaging intergenerational family mental health and healing.
