Wednesday mornings this summer, join us for movement and wellness sessions led by local instructors who center community, restoration, and joy. These gatherings are open to all levels—whether you’re brand new to movement or a seasoned practitioner.
Reminders:
- Wear: Comfortable clothing you can move in.
- Bring (optional): Yoga mat, water bottle, journal if you’d like to reflect.
- Cost: $5 for the public & free for ZH Members
Each week is a chance to connect with your body, your breath, and your community.

June 17 & 24 - Power & Presence
Host: Kendra Asiedu
Info: Join Kendra for a morning workout blends yoga, strength training, and beginner-friendly pole conditioning to improve flexibility, build functional strength, and boost confidence. Designed for all fitness levels, the class will ease you into mindfulness of yourself, move into dynamic movements that support your mobility, and full-body conditioning in a supportive and welcoming environment. Come move with intention, as this class is a great way to begin your day.

June 10 - Joyful Movement and Music
Host: Phyl Flanagan
Info: Join Phyl for a fun and empowering session of guided, rhythmic movement. Follow along as Phyl guides you thought some dynamic stretching and simple dance moves accompanied by Afrobeats and Reggae music. There is also permission and encouragement to feel the music and improvise as feels good to you. The session will wrap-up with a cool-down and optional affirmations to send you on your way with a greater sense of purpose, connection and gratitude.

June 3 - Thick Like Me: Beyoncé Dance Improv

Info: Join Dr. Alex for a Thick Like Me: Beyoncé Dance Improv class. We'll have a dance-based warm-up and improv activities that help participants connect to their bodies. We're using dance to enjoy movement and listen to what our body's need. Plus a Beyoncé based soundtrack for a little extra confidence boost. All bodies are welcome in the space & no experience necessary.

May 27 - Slow Power Yoga

Join Elizabeth Wangugi, Certified Power, Yin & Restorative Yoga Specialist, for a one-hour slow power flow experience focused on mobility, range of motion, and full-body restoration. This class is designed to help you:
Breathe through tension and stiffness
Build functional strength
Reconnect to your joints and your total body
Slow power yoga is the perfect balance between challenge and care. Strong enough to feel it, slow enough to actually heal from it. All levels welcome. No prior yoga experience needed.
