� Wellness Retreat �We have a fantastic weekend planned packed full of wellness and wellbeing related activities. We have some returning session leaders, Joe will be back with his introductions into breathwork, teaching you how to use different breathes to help you in different situations. He will also be bringing his mobile sauna to the event, this is a woodfired Finnish Sauna built inside of a horsebox and is the largest of its kind in Essex. Sessions will be booked in advance and can be single tickets for a chance to share the space with others or as a group for those who would like the sauna to themselves. In addition to this there will be the opportunity to book a guided sauna experience with Joe which includes an introduction into the history and etiquette of sauna as well as the chance to try whisking with birch/oak branches. Whisking is an ancient way to improve blood flow, enhance skin and hair, reduce inflammation in sore muscles and joints and a very special way to get back in touch with nature.
We also have Caroline who will be leading us in her beautifully relaxing yoga session this will be followed by some sound healing which will be either a gong or sound bath this.
Amy will be running the morning sessions and will be taking us through a gentle work out to get our blow flowing and our muscles warmed up. She will also be hosting 1-2-1s and taking you through what to expect in her PT sessions.
There will be two talks per day, starting off with Professor Joyce Harper on Saturday with a talk on women's health and bringing her insights from her academic research into how activities such as wild swimming and cold exposure can help benefit women's health.
Ian a local medium will be joining us on Saturday afternoon leading us in a group reading. Ian was once a sceptic himself so is fascinating to listen to when he delivers messages.
Sarah will be returning with her fashion talk on Sunday afternoon this time the talk will be on wardrobe basics for your body shape and size.
If that wasn't enough we have our therapist's room again running alongside the day's activities where you can relax and unwind with taster treatment sessions including reiki, massage, reflexology, readings, Vitali chi to name just a few.
