Wellness in Woodlawn is partnering with Bare Hands to host a unique wellness experience.

With roots in Bare Hands’ annual Día de los Muertos festival, the Memorial Altar Box Workshop teaches the traditions of making a memorial (ofrenda) as participants make personal remembrance boxes and often share stories of loved ones and address collective community loss due to issues like gun violence.

Celebrate, honor, and remember your loved one - friend, family member, pet - in a supportive environment that welcomes your story, your memories, and your experience with grief.
