Join us for Wellness in Bloom, a free, one-night pop-up art exhibition featuring eleven Black artists whose work gives visual presence to the many realities of reproductive justice.
Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at 47 Edison Place, Newark NJ 07201.
This Black art exhibition explores the topics our communities live every day: birth, maternal health, the lack of access to abortion, and community mental and emotional health. Drawing on past and present reproductive and sexual health justice movements, the show sits with the personal, legal, and social realities of accessing reproductive healthcare in a post-Roe v. Wade country.

- Original work from eleven Black artists across painting, photography, mixed media, and more
- A welcoming space for community members, reproductive justice leaders, healthcare providers, advocates, and students
- Real conversation about how we EXPRESS, EXPLORE, and EXPAND a shared vision for reproductive justice

About the organization: Presented by NJBWPA – the New Jersey Black Women Physicians Association, a community-based organization of practicing Black women physicians dedicated to advancing healthcare access and reimagining how healthcare is experienced by people too often left in the margins.
