Wellness for Us | Yoga for Us BIPOC Spectacle Island Community Field Trip
About this Event
Building BIPOC specific community is important and this trip is intended to create the space for us to gather, get outside of the city for a little while and enjoy the beauty of Spectacule Island.
Once on island, we will enjoy a group grouding practice, take a walk together and rest with the opportunity to be reflective or creative through activities provided by host, Marlene Boyette.
Light snacks will be provided before departure to the island and once on the island.
This experience is free, and space is limited so registration is mandatory. If you decide not to attend after registerin, please cancel your registration so that we have an accurate count of attendees.
Things to bring: water bottle, a light jacket, sweater or long sleeved teeshirt, your favorite journal.
Wear shoes that are appropriate for walking and / or possibly getting your feet wet.
