Foraging and Growing Workshops coming to Wellington all the way from Christchurch. No need for prior knowledge we will learn everything from scratch.
Workshop description:
We are meeting at the lovely berhampore organic community orchard in the heart of Wellington!
During this workshop we will learn to substitute our salads, teas, seeds for the rest of our lives, save a lot of money while contributing to nature thriving again, with incredible insights all through life while reconnecting with nature every time a bit more. A contribution to mental and physical wellbeing while having an excuse to go outside, treasure hunting with your family, neighbors, friends or solo💚
No prior knowledge is necessary. Just your enthusiasm to learn, ready ears and ready to try new things and sense of humor😊
We will have a very necessary 30-40min introduction talk with some unique understandings of what plants are, how we can help them and how they can help us. All with good scientific attitude. We will also learn some tools/attitudes to foraging and then walk around and learn about 10-12 plants that can be found nearly in every backyard during this workshop, which out of my experience have proven to be most practical and easiest to remember.
3 hours is a must to do all the above.

REGISTRATION IS Essential the event is number of registered people dependent.
50$ per person per workshop, 80$ for 2 ppl within a family, children are free, animals are welcome. Volunteers of non profit organization's and community gardeners are welcome to register for koha - or vegetables/produce from their gardens if you prefer. please indicate upon registration.
