Wellington Scottish and Sparkle Fitness are hosting a group long run and inviting all those who are doing any of the Gazley Volkswagen events along.Our second course recce explores another important section of the Wellington Marathon route, starting from Shelly Bay.
This section gives runners valuable insight into:
• Wind exposure and terrain considerations
• Where to stay controlled
• How to manage effort across changing conditions
• Practical pacing strategies for race day
These sessions are about building familiarity so nothing feels unfamiliar on event day.
