✨Celebrate the Year of the Snake at the Wellington Lantern Festival! 🐍✨
Join us on Saturday, 22 February and Sunday, 23 February 2025 at the Botanic Gardens Sound Shell for a magical evening under the stars. We’re welcoming the Year of the Snake with an exciting celebration of culture, community, and creativity.
📍 Venue: Botanic Gardens Sound Shell, 101 Glenmore Street

🕒 Time: 5:00 PM until late evening
🎶 Live Performances will include:
• Spectacular Dragon Dancing 🐉
• Traditional Chinese Singing & Dancing 🎤💃
• Serene Tai Chi demonstrations 🥋

🥟 Food & Cultural Stalls will be set up in the gardens and also across the road at the Anglican Chinese Mission Church – come hungry and ready to explore!
🏮 Lantern Making: Bring the whole family to create your own beautiful lanterns! Children can join in the fun and bring home a piece of the festival magic.
