Led by our support team, these walks are open to all adults affected by a brain tumour (including patients, carers and loved ones). You will be taken on a leisurely, low-level walk for around 1-1.5 hours.
We will meet near the Ampitheatre, at the side of the stable block where the cafe/shop/toilets are situated.
From here we will take a stroll around the grounds, the paths are generally flat, well maintained and suitable for all. Any members of your party who would prefer not to take part in the walk are welcome to stay with one of our support team and enjoy a chat and a drink.
Hopefully the weather will be kind, so why not bring a picnic? We are unable to book tables or a room at Temple Newsam so we thought everyone could bring a picnic with them and we will provide the drinks.
You may want to bring a chair/blanket to sit on, although there is seating around the ampitheatre for us to enjoy lunch together.
