About this Event
This is one of three events designed for farmers, hosted in partnership by the Allerton Project and the East Mercia Rivers Trust. Supported by Defra’s Water Restoration Fund, these events are part of a wider initiative to collaborate with landowners on enhancing river health and reducing flood risks through sustainable agriculture and natural flood management.
The agenda is as follows:
- Introduction to the Catchment Project
- Introduction to the Allerton Project and soil & water management on-farm
- In-field acticities including infiltration rings, VESS scoring and worm counts
- Farm walk & tallk
Please arrive at the Allerton Project Visitor Centre at 9.45am for refreshments. The first presentation will commence at 10am.
