Our craft workshops in Mid-Market are the perfect excuse to get out of the house this spring. Join us at SAMS American Eatery for for a printmaking workshop. Learn how to tie simple knots in this easy to learn version of macrame to create a functional and cute plant hanger!
We've partnered with Workshop SF and artist Leah at Coffee & Cream Press () to provide everything you need: materials, inspiration, and instruction. Participants will use pre-carved blocks to create colorful prints on paper. Ink is applied to the block with a roller, then pressed onto paper to transfer the design. The process highlights the texture and detail of block printing, allowing each print to be unique. Grab a drink, grab a meal, socialize with fellow artists and crafters, and make some prints!
