Well-Crafted: Leather Bag Charms at Rise Over Run

Market Street Arts is hosting a free art event. Our free craft workshops are the perfect artsy excuse to put down your phone and pick up some art in Mid-Market. Join us at Rise Over Run, the beautiful rooftop bar at the Timbri Hotel, to hand craft your own leather bag charms. Grab a beverage, some leather working tools, and socialize with fellow crafters.

We've partnered with Workshop SF and artist Jennifer Laursen (tiltleather) to provide everything you need: materials, inspiration, and instruction. Choose from spring-themed butterflies, trees or hearts and decorate with acrylic pens. It’s the perfect way to add a personal touch to your favorite bag. Jen has been teaching leatherwork around the bay area for 13 years and now co-owns a workshop space in Vallejo called The Exchange. Grab a drink, socialize with fellow artists and crafters, and channel your inner leather-worker.

Well-Crafted is a FREE art event presented by Market Street Arts with support from Workshop SF, the San Francisco Office of Economic & Workforce Development, and Rise Over Run at the Timbri Hotel. Market Street Arts is an initiative of the Mid-Market Business Association.

Please plan to purchase drinks, mocktails or sodas while you craft to help support our Mid-Market venues.

Well-Crafted events series first launched by Market Street Arts in 2024, and is now in it's second season. This is the fourth workshop in March. Please join us for as many as you'd like!
