Welding private lesson

Spend two hours with an experienced welder to:

• Learn to weld,
• Improve your welding skills,
• Learn how to use supporting equipment (brushes, sanders, grinders), and/or
• Get help on planning, material prep, and fabrication for your projects.

Welders of all experience levels are welcome. If you’ve never welded before, a private lesson may be a more suitable environment for you than our group Intro to Welding class. If you have some welding experience, the lesson can be tailored to provide guidance on a project you're actively working on.

The instructor will contact you after registration to find out what you would like to cover in the lesson.

About the instructor:

Beau Cormier earned a certificate in Metal Fabrication and Welding from Blue Hills Regional Technical High School in Canton, MA, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Bridgewater State University. During college, he worked in a metal shop specializing in architectural/decorative metal pieces, as well as public art. An avid mountain biker and cyclist, Beau worked in the bicycle industry, and was instrumental in setting up Factory 3’s bicycle shop. He has been helping Factory 3 since before its opening, and did most of the welding for our work tables.
