Join us at Portland Center Stage for Welcoming Week festivities, an international celebration of immigrants' contributions to the U.S. social fabric. Our event offers a space for immigrants and refugees to showcase their skills, crafts, and businesses while fostering understanding and connection to Portland's community & resources.
Our panel discussion on the 19th will explore work done at the state, regional, and city levels to foster a culture of belonging. The conversation will cover small victories and significant achievements in the collective efforts, opportunities to advance immigrant-refugee policy, and ways citizens can support a community of welcome amid a polarizing upcoming election.
