Welcoming The Surfer of The South to Newquay - Official Launch

The Keough Foundation and Newquay Town Council officially welcome The Surfer of The South Surf Statue to Newquay. This event will see Cherrilyn Keough officially gift the statue to the town Mayor and handover to Newquay Town Council. Anton Paul will be our MC on the day running through the handover and celebrating its place in Newquay and its history celebrating over 60 years of Newquay being the home of surfing in the UK. The statue from this point will be known as 'The Surfer of the South' and will be accompanied by a new website and more.
