The penultimate day of Welcome Week starts off with a Compulsory Introduction to the 'Academic & Transferable skills Portfolio', this session will expand on what skills you will need to complete your up-coming modules and attendance is monitored.At 11am the Maths: Computing Bootcamp session begins, this is an optional session for students to familiarise themselves with some computing fundamentals. This part 1 of the bootcamp and the second session will be held on Friday.
After lunch the fun and games begin with the NatSci Team Challenge. The Natural Sciences Society (NatSciSoc) and peer mentors have teamed up to organise some science themed games and activities so you can get to know your new class mates.
Lastly the day will end with a BBQ and the winners of the NatSci Team Challenge will be revealed and rewarded for their efforts!
