Jason and Nina had their baby, Enzo. He wants to check out a can exchange.We will have another Can Exchange on Saturday, June 29.
As I suspect/hope we will have some first-timers with us as well as people that have not joined us in a while, please read the rules/guidelines on how the can exchange works. If you have not joined us in a while, there are probably a few changes you are unaware of, so PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
DATE/TIME: Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM
I. Admission is two (2) 4-paks of craft beer. Independent breweries preferred. If you want to bring one 4-pak, feel free (two is recommended). If you come in with eight beers, you will leave with eight beers. If you come in with four, you will leave with four. The holder for your 4-pak will be your receipt, so your entry must come like it did from the brewery/store.
(a) If you are in the same household and bring two 4-paks (one each), you will get one ticket. You can alternate who picks if you want. If your household wants more than one pick, bring two 4-paks each.
(b) NO MIXED 4-PAKS
(c) If you have a high ABV brew that is only 12oz but is sold as a 4-pak you can exchange them.
(d) BOTTLED 4-PAKS ARE NOW ACCEPTED
(e) The GOAL is for everyone to bring different beers. Please try to bring something you like, but you don't think anyone else will have. DON'T BRING two 4-paks of the same beer please.
II. I will put numbers into a bowl and we will draw to see who draws 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. We will draw in rotation, you pick one beer at a time. Once you fill your holder(s), you are done picking.
We will start with 1st to the last; then last to 1st.
For example, if there are 10 participants, we will go 1 to 10, then 10 to 1, and back again. Number 1 ends up with the first and last pick; number 10 would get the last and first pick for the round.
PEOPLE THAT BRING ONE 4-PAK WILL CHOOSE ON THE WAY DOWN, AND SKIP THE WAY UP.
EXAMPLE: If you are #4 and brought one 4-pak you would only draw on 4 when going 1 to 10; 4 will be passed by on the 10 to 1 direction.
III. In the interest of security, I am not posting my home address here. If you don't know where I live, text me your name and phone and I will text it to you.
IV. I will have a tent and table set out to protect the beer.
V. NO MIXED 4-PAKS! You will walk out with mixed 4-paks.
