For one month each summer, it has been our tradition to open ourselves to the wisdom and inspiration of a carefully chosen book around which we center our Sunday worship services. This summer, it’s the month of July, and the book is “The Amen Effect — Ancient Wisdom to Mend Our Broken Hearts and World” by Rabbi Sharon Brous.We are excited to launch “July LIGHT” on July 7th. "Light" because while our worship experience will be every bit as profound as ever, it will embody a spirit of "lightness" as well. "Light" because we are in the midst of these glorious months of longer days and the particular gifts this season brings. "Light" because we trust this will be a time of enlightenment as we open ourselves to the rich illumination of the Holy One who abides with us always.
On July 21st, we embrace the theme “See No Stranger.” Let’s learn together how to build community by seeing the humanity in everyone we meet.
