Welcome To Grasgard — A Grass Coed 4s Volleyball Tournament
Schedule
Sat, 15 Mar, 2025 at 08:00 pm
UTC-05:00Location
Hendersonville Memorial Park | Hendersonville, TN
—This is Valhalla Volley's first official tournament ever.
—Plans for future tournaments will require more equipment like net systems, doubles lines, and volleyballs.
—Plans for future marketing will require the production of merchandise like t-shirts, hats, and frisbees, all with the VV logo on it.
—Plans for future side quests on tournament day include corn hole, portable disc golf putters and baskets, a vert tech so everyone can know once and for all how high they jump, and more.
—To prepare for those costs, this tournament will NOT pay out so that we can afford to get t-shirts made and nets ordered and all that good stuff going as soon as possible to make these events a bigger, better experience for everyone.
—So instead of winning money, Valhalla Volley is offering the winners ONE YEAR'S WORTH OF FREE TOURNAMENTS.
That's right. If you win Welcome to Grasgard, you and all your teammates will get to play in all of Valhalla Volley's 2025 tournaments FOR FREE.
—The second place team will get to play in their next two tournaments for free.
—The winners of the lower bracket will get to play in their next tournament for free.

RULE HIGHLIGHTS:
—The yellow OPTX ball is the default game ball.
—All players can block and attack at and above the net.
—The block does not count as one of your team’s three touches, or as one of your personal touches.
—Like indoors, doubling the first contact with finger action is legal, including in serve receive and when passing freeballs.
—Setting across the net is illegal unless the ball's direction is perpendicular with the shoulder line, or unless the overset was a legitimate attempt to set a teammate, as judged by the ref.
—The attacker is not allowed to tip the ball with an open hand. The attacker is allowed to joust with an open hand as long as their contact is simultaneous with the blocker's contact.
—Blockers are allowed to redirect the ball with one or two hands.
—Any net touch during play results in a loss of point. If the ball is down before the net touch, there is no violation.
—Coming under the net is legal as long as it doesn’t interfere with another player's ability to play the ball.
—In the absence of antennae, the poles will function as such.
—You get one toss on your serve.
—Let serves are legal.
