Welcome to Birding Field Trip

Join us at Robert H. Long Nature Park as we walk along 1.4 miles of trails near beautiful wetland habitat. We have chances to see a wide array of birds including waterfowl (such as wood ducks, blue-winged teals, Northern Shovelers, Pied-billed Grebes, Ring-necked Duck and many others), American Coots, Dunlin, Great Blue Herons, Belted Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Kinglets and many other backyard birds.

A major feature of this park is a handicapped accessible crushed limestone trail that encircles Berry Lake. A covered bridge connects the north and south sides of the trail.
