Welcome the Autumn Equinox

An afternoon of acknowledging the summer season, pausing, and gathering stock as we enter into fall together with art and song.
About this Event

Do you want to gather in community and honor the transition of balance of light and dark?

We are envisioning an afternoon inspired by the healing arts and connecting with nature. Come join us in movement, singing, artisitic expression, and silence. Coordinators, Renate and Hillary will be facilitating a walking meditation, leaf printing, (no art experience required) at the Rose Garden in Beacon Hill Park.

We will gather in circle, co-create an altar (you are invited to bring an item that symbolizes the transition to fall or something that embodies gratitude to you). We will facilitate a seasonal art activity of leaf-printing and/or watercolours and be joined by the wonderful Choralina for a song-circle (no experience required).

Everyone aged 12 + welcome.

All materials and supplies will be provided. Exact location will be shared closer to the event date.
